N Maize Rd · West Wichita
Massage Near Maize Road in Wichita, KS
One turn off N Maize Rd — west onto Central, north side, in the strip by Chili's and the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Sixty minutes on the table is $60. The two studios that are genuinely on Maize Rd sit two and a half miles north at NewMarket Square and publish $129.95–$130 for the same hour.
We aren’t on Maize Road. Diamond Massage is at 10646 W Central Ave #106, a couple of hundred yards west of the Central and Maize intersection on the north side. People find us searching Maize Rd anyway, and the difference between our block and the Maize Rd addresses shows up on the receipt. Sixty minutes on the table is $60, we take walk-ins and appointments, and we’re open seven days.
Where exactly are you from Central and Maize?
West of the light, north side of Central. If you’re sitting at the intersection facing west, you’re already looking down the block at us — one turn and you’re there. Coming north up Maize you turn left onto Central; coming south you turn right.
The corner itself
Inside a quarter mile of our door: Chili’s, the Walmart Neighborhood Market, an ALDI and a Walgreens on our side, and the Dillons at 10515 W Central across the road. Swanson Park is 0.23 miles due north, a 5-minute walk — if you turn up twenty minutes early, that’s where to spend them rather than sitting in the car.
Two other studios sit on this same stretch of W Central: Blue Sky Massage and RelaxAsian Massage. Neither publishes a rate on any listing we can reach, so there’s no way to tell you what an hour costs at either. Ours is on the menu page, all of it.
One turn off N Maize Rd
-
Get onto Maize Rd
From the south, Maize Rd starts where the Kellogg freeway section ends and runs north about a mile and a half to Central. From the north, K-96 or 21st Street North brings you down past NewMarket Square, about two and a half miles. -
Turn west onto W Central Ave
Left if you came up from Kellogg, right if you came down from NewMarket Square. Stay in the right-hand lane. -
Watch the north side of the street
You'll pass Chili's and the Walmart Neighborhood Market. The Dillons is opposite, on the south side — if the Dillons is behind you, you've gone a little far and Tyler Rd is the next mile road. -
Still can't see us?
Call (316) 347-6999 from the car and we'll walk you in. It happens most days and nobody minds.
Coming down from the city of Maize
About 13 minutes and 6.4 miles, straight up N Maize Rd. It’s the simplest of the out-of-town drives — leave town southbound, pass NewMarket Square, and Central is your turn. Goddard runs about 14 minutes in from the southwest, Colwich 17, Valley Center 23, and Andover 32 from clear across the city.
What else is on the N Maize Rd corridor?
Two national chains and one studio that keeps its prices to itself. The corridor runs from the Kellogg interchange south of us, north through Central and 13th, up to NewMarket Square — 2.7 miles north of our turn, 840,000 square feet, 56-plus shops — and on out toward the city of Maize.
Massage Envy Wichita West sits at 2441 N Maize Rd, NewMarket Square and Hand & Stone Wichita-West at 2835 N Maize Rd, NewMarket Square. Both are up at the NewMarket end. Sarah Massage is closer in, at 1317 N Maize Rd, 67212, and publishes no rate anywhere we could find it.

What does the drive south down Maize Rd change?
The number on the receipt, mostly. $130 and $129.95 are the published non-member hours at the NewMarket Square end; ours is $60, two and a half miles south and one turn west. A chain wraps a membership, a spa menu and a much bigger front desk around the same hour, and some people want exactly that. If what you came for is sixty minutes of hands on your back, the drive is worth about $70 to you.
The two numbers people misread
$70 is Massage Envy’s published member rate for the hour, and you reach it by signing up for a monthly plan. $89.95 is Hand & Stone’s first-visit offer, it buys fifty minutes, and it happens once. Neither is what a stranger pays walking in on a Tuesday.
We’re also not the only reasonable rate on the west side. SunJoy Massage Spa publishes $60 for the classic hour from 2130 N Tyler Rd, 67212, a mile east of us on the next mile road — along W Central the mile roads sit almost exactly a mile apart, so 119th St W, Maize, Tyler and Ridge come up like fence posts. Where we’d argue for ourselves is the 9:30 PM close on Friday and Saturday, the couples room, and a four-hands session nobody else on this corridor publishes at all.
Can you walk in near Central and Maize?
At our end of the corridor, yes. Of the fourteen Wichita studios that state a policy at all, ten take appointments only, and it is broadly the same half of the field publishing chain-level rates of $129.95–$130. Both chains on N Maize Rd are built around Book Now.
Is a massage safe, and what should I tell you first?
For most healthy adults it is low-risk. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health states plainly that the risk of harmful effects from massage therapy appears to be low, and lists massage among the physical approaches that are generally safe for healthy people when performed appropriately — adding that people with medical conditions and people who are pregnant may need to modify or avoid some of them.
So tell us at the start if you’re pregnant, taking blood thinners or living with a clotting disorder, if there’s a fracture, open wound, burn or skin infection anywhere we’d be working, or if you’re in active cancer treatment. Sometimes we change what we do; sometimes we’ll ask you to check with your doctor first. We don’t diagnose or treat anything. If pain is new, severe or getting worse, see a doctor about it — and book the massage too, because the two sit together perfectly well.
How massage is licensed in Wichita
Kansas has no state massage license. The City of Wichita licenses at city level: Chapter 3.55 of the city code requires a business license and a therapist permit for every therapist, both renewed every two years, and every working therapist carries a city photo ID card. Ask to see it any time, here or anywhere else on the corridor. There’s a fuller walk-through in our guide to checking a Wichita studio.
